Suicide Prevention

Today is world suicide prevention day.

People with chronic illnesses do suffer from a higher rate of depression than the regular community.  If you are not coping, get help. If someone you know appears to be struggling, ask if they're OK, and help them to find help if they're not.

If you need support, you can see your GP, a counsellor, psychologist, psychiatrist, a member of clergy or call Lifeline (in Australia) ph 131114, before problems start to feel too big to face alone.
